Meet the team

Our Doctors

Ash Trees Surgery currently has over 25,000 registered patients spread over a wide and diverse geographical area.  In order to provide our patients with continuity of care, we divide our Practice area geographically into three sections (North, Central and South) with each section having its own dedicated group of GPs.  Every patient has their own named registered GP and the number of patients allocated to a particular GP depends upon how many sessions that GP works per week. If you need to see your GP and they are not available, you will be offered an appointment with a different GP in the same group. We have a dedicated Urgent Care Team  GPs that work with our Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics, First Contact Physiotherapists and Mental Health Practitioners to deliver ‘on the day’ care for urgent medical issues. For ongoing, chronic or non urgent problems, our three GP teams, working over our six sites, provide a high level of care in all other aspects of health and wellbeing.

We expect them to treat you with respect and  courtesy at all times, and we ask you to be polite and courteous in return. The surgery operates a zero tolerance policy against violence or abuse towards our staff.

The CCT led by Catherine Lawrence receive all letters via post or electronically and scan them onto our document management system, recording any diagnosis, procedures, or results onto the patient record so they are easily accessible to clinicians within the surgery or hospital. They also summarise any new patient records, ensuring all clinical information is documented correctly.

The Rota Admin Team organise all the clinicians rotas, including trainee doctors, and oversee annual leave requests, appointment timetabling and staff training.
